On behalf of the entire team, here at LifeCare Mobility Solutions, we would like to wish you all very Happy Holidays! Technically, the holiday season has officially gotten underway. Hanukkah kicked off this past Sunday and goes until the 25th. Christmas will be here this forthcoming Sunday. Kwanzaa begins the next day and goes until New Years Day. What an exciting time of year!
We hope that no matter what you celebrate – or even if you don’t celebrate at all – that you will be surrounded by your loved ones in the days to come. As well, we wanted to give you the heads up that LifeCare Mobility Solutions will closed during the Christmas weekend and will remain closed on Monday and Tuesday as well. Our location will be back open on Wednesday, December 28th but will close again for New Year’s weekend. We are opening back up on Tuesday, January 3rd.
We encourage you to contact us during business hours to discuss any and all of our mobility solutions. The following is a shortlist of what we offer.
Stair lifts.
A home stair lift is a motorized chair that slowly and safely glides up and down a set of stairs affixed to a metal rail that is mounted to the stair treads. Stair lifts can be mounted on either straight or curved staircases. This makes it easy to access other levels of your home with any type of stair design.
Straight Stair lifts are fitted to staircases with no bends. Curved Stair lifts are fitted to staircases that have one or more bends and require a custom designed curved rail. A home stair lift can be mounted either inside or outside, depending on your needs.
Porch lifts.
A home porch lift (or vertical platform lift) is an indoor or outdoor residential elevating lift. It provides efficient and easy access to a raised deck, porch or even steps within your home. A porch lift or vertical platform lift allows individuals with rollators, wheelchairs and/or scooters to easily access these sometimes hard-to-get-to areas.
Porch lifts are practical for both indoors and outdoors and can be adapted to satisfy your specific needs. They are an excellent option to access the community from your home to get to important medical appointments and so on.
Home hospital beds.
Home hospital beds allow individuals to increase their sleeping comfort by adjusting bed positioning with proper therapeutic mattress surfaces. These unique beds are perfect for individuals who have hard times getting in and out of bed, have sleeping issues or insomnia. They are also ideal for individuals who are bedridden.
Do you spend extended periods of time in bed? The pressure that your bed exerts on your body can cause soreness and bedsores. Home hospital beds provide a perfect solution as they enable users to make adjustments and shift the pressure to other places on the body. In addition, home hospital beds allow for improved circulation and breathing with periodic adjustments to body positioning.
