Here is a list of the funding options available in Ontario:
Home and Vehicle Modification Program as administered by the Ontario March of Dimes
- Consumers who meet program criteria can apply for grant funding of up to $15,000 for home or vehicle modifications.
- Application form: Home and Vehicle Modification Program application
- This program offers federal/provincial funding for lower-income seniors and/or people with a disability who wish to make health and safety repairs or accessibility modifications to their homes.
- Toronto Renovates offers grants of up to $3,500 are available for home modifications to accommodate a disability or to make a home more accessible.
- Toronto Renovates offers forgivable loans of up to $10,000 are available for essential home repairs and/or accessibility modifications.
- For example, ramps, handrails, stair lifts, bath lifts and roll-in showers are eligible under the program.

- Ceridian Cares supports requests for medical equipment, special therapies, home adjustments for barrier free living etc.

- The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care provides substantial funding to eligible clients for a myriad of mobility items (walkers, rollators, wheelchairs, scooters, power wheelchairs, seating, etc.)
- Clients are required to undergo a mobility assessment by an Occupational Therapist
- LifeCare Mobility Solutions is an authorized ADP vendor in the Province of Ontario
